Welcome to Mahapanya Vidayalai

Mahapanya Vidayalai translated as college of wisdom, is an international Buddhist college located in Hat Yai, Thailand.

The college is affiliated with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU). 

MPV was founded by the Supreme Patriarch of Anamikaya (the Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist sect of Thailand) and with supports of the Theravada Sangha. The college was launched in 2002. It is offers high school education as well as an international bachelor degree program in Buddhist studies with a concentration in Mahayana Buddhism.

MP.V, Student Activity

MPV administration office called an emergency gathering with all students at monastic hall to call for cooperation. For few months, since new 2010’s admission, due to lack of language barrier Administration office was unable to explain its mission and vision to students. Mrs. Achan Sawatdee Bunnjawaht, head of administration, Ven. Deepan Chettri, Acting registrar, Ven. Gyanandra Dewan and Ven. Sonam Lepcha, Student Advisor were present.

Mrs. Achan Sawatdee: Successful student is one, who is active, creative, disciplined and helpful to society. A student should act; behave accordingly as a monk, as a student fulfilling MPV’s vision and mission.
